ys_vivekananda_reddy_murder_caseThe accused in YS Viveka’s case were brought from Kadapa to Hyderabad as part of the investigation. Accused – Sunil Yadav, Devi Reddy Sivashankar Reddy, Erra Gangireddy, Dastagiri, and Umashankar Reddy were produced in the CBI court.

CBI filed a memo in the court that it is becoming difficult to shift the accused from Kadapa to Hyderabad for hearings.

The court had ordered the accused to be shifted to Chanchalguda Jail. That means they will be out of Kadapa and Andhra Pradesh where they are expected to have ‘support’ even in jail for apparent reasons.

So, this development will be inconvenient for them.

Sivashankar Reddy, Umashankar Reddy, and Sunil Yadav will be shifted to Chanchalguda Jail. Two others – Erra Gangireddy and Dastagiri, who became an approver, are out on bail.

The next hearing of the case is posted on March 10th.

It is known that the Supreme Court transferred the trial of Viveka’s murder case from AP to Telangana a few days ago.

Following the transfer of the case, the CBI officials have already brought all the files, charge sheets, witness statements and documents related to the murder case in the Kadapa District Sessions Court in three boxes to the CBI Court.
