Jagan‘s sister, YS Sharmila has met with her supporters at her Lotus Pond Residence. First, she talked in private to the leaders of each district separately. She addressed the leaders saying that Telangana needs Rajanna Rajyam and she believes it possible only with them.
“I did not come here to speak. I came to listen to you. You known ground reality better than me. Tell me what is happening at your place,” she said. Speculations are that the party will be named YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP).
We are told that efforts are on to register the party with the Election Commission of India and the party announcement may happen in March. There are no photos of Jagan on the flexies erected there and there is no mention of Jagan’s name in Sharmila’s speech.
Meanwhile, YSR Congress‘ mouthpiece Sakshi has blacked out the entire program.
