YS Sharmila, the other day, announced her intention of launching a new political party in Telangana in a bid to bring Rajanna Rajyam to the people of the state. She is trying to erase the Andhra mark on her claiming her to be Telangana’s daughter-in-law.
She is also not repeating the common mistakes of focusing more on settlers from Andhra Pradesh. The other day, she sat with the leaders and supporters from the Nalgonda district. She will be meeting the supporters from the erstwhile Khammam district on the 20th of this month.
She is keen on concentrating on the entire state other than confining to a single area. That is actually good for her party. The party name announcement is likely to happen next month after the party registration is completed.
On the other side, there are reports that she may not field a candidate for the upcoming Nagarjunasagar by-election since there is very little time.
