Jagan at court

YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will appear before the CBI court on July 21st for the accused Quid Pro Quo cases. Jagan and former Andhra Pradesh ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy, Geetha Reddy, Dharmana Prasada Rao and Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao appeared in the court in connection with different aspects of the case. The prosecution and defence counsels have agreed to start the arguments in the first charge sheet from 21st of this month.

India Cements MD N Srinivasan, some senior IAS officers and some industrialists who are among other accused in the different chargesheets also appeared before the court.The CBI has filed total ten chargesheets in the case. The first charge sheet is relating to allotment of land to the tune of 75 acres each to Hetero and Aurobindo Group. The allegations are that the companies quid pro quo in return of investment to the tune of Rs 29.5 crore they had made in Jagan’s companies during the tenure as chief minister of his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
