YS Jagan Watching IPL Matches without MissingNara Lokesh, TDP national general secretary, lashed out at Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, in the wake of death of two covid patients in Maharaja General Hospital in Vizaianagaram, who died over the lack of oxygen supply. According to reports, the incident happened in the early hours today following the shortage of oxygen supply since 2am. The other critically ill patients have been shifted to private hospitals. In this regard, Nara Lokesh took to social media coming down heavily on the ruling party.

With the State government’s irresponsible approach, in his tweet, Nara Lokesh said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has put himself in Tadepalli ‘palace’ and is watching IPL matches. He asked the state government to take responsibility over their failure and announce relief measures to the bereaved family.

Nara Lokesh sent condolences to the bereaved families. Calling out the government’s failure, former and pointing out the state government’s apathy, he tweeted, “The state government should support the families of the deceased. The Opposition has been asking day in and out over the government failure over the ongoing crisis in the state but the ruling party continues to remain in slumber. He pointed out how public is suffering with unavailability of beds and oxygen in hospital”.

In another tweet, Nara Lokesh added that at a time when the state is in fifth position with rising cases, Jagan Mohan Reddy has put himself in his Tadepalli ‘palace’ and is busy watching IPL matches. Similar to the Telangana government, the Andhra Pradesh government has also put in place night curfew from April 24 between 10pm to 5am in order to curb rising covid cases. AP stands at fifth place after Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu which has over 10 lakh COVID cases.
