It is an Open-Secret that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is rooting for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Victory in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Elections. KCR has been providing constant inputs to Jagan about how to go about and defeat Chandrababu. There were rumors that he is trying to control TDP leaders using their assets in Hyderabad.
On the other side, a source close to Jagan Reddy tells us that KCR recently asked the Opposition Leader to perform Rajasyamala Yagnam under the guidance of Vishaka Peetadhipathi, Swami Swaroopanandendra. KCR performed the same Yagam before 2018 Telangana Assembly Elections and cruised to Power with a Sensational Victory.
Jagan who has been taking every suggestion of KCR refused this. Even though the Opposition Leader is trying everything to erase the Christian mark on him and please Hindus, he feared to do something of this scale. “A Yagnam of that scale is against Jagan’s faith and will also anger the SCs who rally with YSR Congress Big Time,” the source added.
So, Jagan rejected the idea. These elections are extremely crucial for the survival of the YSR Congress. A defeat here will bring the Question of Survival. It is just impossible for a new Regional Party to survive in Politics without Power for more than a decade. Andhra Pradesh will go to vote on April 11th and the Results will be out on May 23rd.
