YS_Jagan_Vizag_SteelAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday.

The key agenda of Jagan‘s Delhi tour is to request the Union Government to extend the loan limit from 28,000 Crore to 61,000 Crore for this financial year.

The Chief Minister also submitted a letter with nine issues. Interestingly, Special Status and Vishaka Steel Plant did not figure in this list.

Among the nine issues the Chief Minister has mentioned, he urged the Prime Minister to establish a steel plant in his own district Kadapa as promised in the bifurcation act.

Vizag people and steel plant workers’ unions are fuming at the CM for ignoring the Steel Plant issue while taking up the issue of the Kadapa steel plant.

They are now understanding that the Jagan Government had started playing to the tunes of the Modi government on the Vishaka Steel plant just like how they did for the Special Status issue.

Interestingly, BJP needs the support of the YSR Congress to have their candidate win the presidential election. Despite having that advantage, Jagan did not bother to use it as a bargaining chip.
