YS_Jagan_Mohan_ReddyAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister was invited for Maha Samprokshana of Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Amaravati.

The temple constructed by TTD was initially proposed at 140 Crore but was downsized to 31 Crore after the Government changed.

The construction of the temple on 25 acres of land in Venkatapalem got completed recently. TTD Chairman and other archakas recently met the Chief Minister and invited him to the temple.

The Chief Minister skipped the event at the last minute fearing protests from the farmers.

Jagan stays in Amaravati but avoids any other route except for his camp office and the secretariat.

He canceled the visit at the last minute fearing slogans and protests by the farmers who gave their lands to the capital.

The officials waited for one hour for the Chief Minister to arrive but were informed about the change in the plan at the last minute.

Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan was present. Endowments Minister Kottu Satyanarayana, TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy, and his wife. Swaroopanandendra Swamy of Visakha Sharda Peeta,, Swatmanandendra Swamy, and others have attended.

The Mahasamprokshana and Prana Prathishta of the deity happened grandly.
