YSRCP Leaders speaking against ys jagan governmentYet another day, yet another adverse judgment for Jagan Government and this time it is from the Supreme Court. The Apex court had refused to stay High Court order in Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner (SEC) case. The court opined that there is no merit in the Government’s argument for bringing the ordinance.

Only the last week, the High Court reinstated Nimmagadda Ramesh as the SEC after scrapping Ordinance and related government orders reducing the SEC tenure to three years from earlier five years. The Government stalled Nimmagadda’s comeback by approaching the Supreme Court.

It looks like the Government is bound to lose again. The Apex court served notices to all the respondents and asked them to answer in two weeks. The issue is posted to a hearing after four weeks. With the Supreme Court refusing to stay, Nimmagadda Ramesh may come back.

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is insecure about Nimmagadda since he is the same caste of Chandrababu Naidu and also, an appointee by the then TDP Government. The present Government did all that it could to send him home but now, it looks like that may not be possible. Maybe Jagan could not satisfy his ego in this issue!
