Madhigaani Gurunatham, state president of the Social Democratic Front, said that CM Jagan had said that the three capitals would be discussed in the current assembly sessions and the bill would be introduced.
Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh, organizers of 3 capitals camps, Bahujan Parikshana Samithi movement leaders Gurunatham, Bethapudi Sambaian, Adam, and others met the Chief Minister at the Secretariat on Thursday.
On this occasion, a petition was presented to the CM seeking the re-introduction of the Three Capitals Bill in the Legislature.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Gurunatham said that the CM informed them that the three capitals would be discussed in the Legislative Assembly on the 21st of this month and the bill would be introduced.
It is known to our readers that the Government had withdrawn the bills earlier. The Chief Minister back then informed the house that bills will be brought back in better form with wider consultations.
No consultations have taken place so far on this as per the information available in the public domain.
