Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has got a rousing reception in Vijayawada. He had a darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga and went to CM Jagan’s Tadepalli Residence for Lunch. KCR is in Vijayawada to invite his Andhra Pradesh Counterpart for Kaleshwaram Project Inauguration.
Jagan came out of his house and welcomed KCR right from his car. KTR and other leaders have also accompanied KCR in this tour. Sources say that they may discuss various pending issues between the two states. Issues like Schedule 9 and 10 institutions division, Power Employees Division, and Pending Power Bills are likely to be taken up.
Buzz is that they are likely to take up the water division controversies as well. Officials say even though there may not be concrete decisions in this meeting, it will be a good start to resolve the issue by dialogue and with the minimal interference of the Central Government.
On the other side, there is Political Criticism on Jagan for accepting the invitation for Kaleshwaram Project Inauguration as he and his party opposed the Project tooth and nail while in Opposition. Jagan used to criticize Chandrababu for not trying to stop the project fearing Vote for Note Case.
