Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is looking to shift to Vishakapatnam for quite sometime now. Oflate, there is so much of buzz that the shift is round the corner and we are hearing about how the government is zeroing in on various temporary buildings for the Chief Minister and other departments.
According to a report in Andhrajyothy, the government wants to take over the Ramanaidu Studios in the port city. The studio situated in Bheemili on 34.44 acres of land given by the Government during Chandrababu Naidu’s regime (2001).
The government is feeling it a right to take over the studio since it is built on the land given by the government. The studio has been operational since 2008 and is the center of all the shootings that happen in Vishakapatnam. The Government is reportedly pressurizing Suresh Babu to give up. In lieu of that, Government is offering land at some other place in Bheemili.
The studio is of massive real estate value due to various reasons. Moreover, it is a dream project of Late Ramanaidu and so, Daggubati family is hesitant to part with it. We are told that the Governnment has been pressurizing Suresh Babu for the past six months.
