It is known that Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s disproportionate assets case is still in court. The CBI court recently ordered the chief minister to attend the daily hearings without fail.
Incidentally, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh has now cancelled the CBI court order pertaining to Jagan’s daily attendance in the court.
The High Court exempted Jagan from daily court appearances and permitted his lawyer to attend the hearing on his behalf. This should come as a relief to the YSRCP chief.
Following the CBI court mandating his presence in the court during the hearing, Jagan approached the High Court. The Court then approved Jagan’s request and exempted him.
In other news, Jagan stated that he is banning the usage of plastic flexis in Andhra Pradesh in a bid to promote plastic-free Andhra Pradesh movement. He asked everyone to go only for cloth-based flexis in the state.
