A young woman sustained life-threatening injuries following a crash in Greensboro, US. The injured identified as Krishna Diipkumar Shah, 20, was going south on Joseph M Bryan Boulevard off-ramp to westbound I-840 in a 2003 Honda.
A 29-year-old man from the same place was going west on I-840 in a 2015 Honda van. Shah went off the ramp to the left into the traffic when she hit the 29-year-old’s vehicle. While Shah was injured seriously, the young man was not taken to the hospital as he had minor injuries. Incidentally, there were two children in the van, though they were uninjured in the crash.
Investigators have found that Shah exceeded the speed limit that caused the crash and charges are now pending against the Indian student. Krishna Shah had come to North Carolina to study from India. Her medical condition remains uncertain for now.
A fundraiser has been started for her by her friends and family.
