On the occasion of Kakinada district Pithapuram MLA Pendem Dorababu’s birthday, an audio message posted by a village secretariat employee in the Whatsapp group of volunteers is doing the rounds on social media.
On the occasion of Dorababu’s birthday on Thursday, the employee asks every volunteer in the village to bring at least ten people to the MLA’s office for the celebrations.
The employee under Gorsa secretariat in the Mandal gave this order to the volunteers there. It is reported that this has been done on the instructions of higher officials and local YSR Congress leaders.
Apparently, ten people are the beneficiaries of welfare schemes.
The local YSR Congress leaders apparently want to prove their strength by taking 10,000 people from each Mandal on the occasion of the MLA’s birthday.
So, the volunteers have been entrusted the responsibility of bringing the beneficiaries to the MLA’s Birthday celebrations.
