Yadadri Facelift to Be Completed by DiwaliThe construction of the main temple of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadadri is likely to be completed by Diwali on October 18. KCR government is keen on developing temple as an icon and a religious center of Telangana. The main temple area is being developed over 4 acres and the VVIP cottages are coming up on 13 acres.

The temple city development in phase one was proposed over 250 acres and phase two 695 acres. Another 165 acres was reserved for other developments and 106 acres for future expansion programs.The retaining wall, seven Gopurams, Prasadam complex, Vratha Mandapam, Maadaveedhi, Brahmotsavam area, Mukhamandapam and Prakarams are being constructed to give the temple a facelift.

The popular Yadagiri Gutta shrine was to be developed as a temple city on par with the hill shrines of Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh and Palani in Tamil Nadu. The government has set the target of Dussehra completion for the renovation works. The project was supposed to be completed by Dussehra but was delayed a bit.
