World's Leading Investment Bank Opens Office In HyderabadGoldman Sachs, the world’s leading investment bank, has started its second office in Hyderabad today. They have been for long successfully operating their base in Bengaluru, which is the second-largest office of the company. IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated its Hyderabad office.

Goldman Sachs announced the new Hyderabad office last year. They were supposed to start the new office in the second half of 2021, but with the second wave, its operations functioned remotely from March.

The leading banking chain will be hiring nearly 2000 employees by 2023 for its Hyderabad office. The company currently has 250 employees. By the end of this year, it will grow to 800, out of which 70 percent will be new hires. It is estimated that by 2023, the Hyderabad office could have nearly 2500 employees.

David M Solomon, Chairman, and CEO mulled that the new office would accelerate Goldman Sachs functions and operations globally. The office has spread its operation to domains like consumer banking support, digital banking to engineering to finance among outer areas. Minister KTR has opined how Hyderabad is turning into a key investment that would eventually generate employment.
