It is known to our readers that World Bank has dropped the proposed 300 Million Dollars Loan to Amaravati and this has triggered a lot of discussion among the people of the State. The Ruling Party was cornered on this issue as TDP alleged that the loan was cancelled as the World Bank do not trust Jagan’s Leadership.
Sakshi has come up with an interesting story to cover up the issue. Firstly, it has mentioned that the World Bank refused the loan because of the Land Scams in the previous regime. The report also mentioned that the World Bank has agreed to lend the same amount to some other Project.
Political Experts ridicule one more aspect mentioned in the Story. Sakshi claimed that the World Bank has agreed to lend support to Jagan’s Navaratnalu – The Nine Promises in YSR Congress’ Election Manifesto. Never ever in the history of the World Bank, the Bank lent money to any country for the Welfare Schemes.
Political Experts say Sakshi is trying to contain the panic in the people with this story and do damage control to the Government. On the other hand, the farmers who have given their lands for Amaravati are very much worried with the developments that followed after Jagan coming to Power.
