Krishna Pushkaralu are fast approaching and the state government is gearing up for the once in 12 years event which is expected to have 3.5 Crore people visiting Vijayawada in the twelve days. The state government is anxiously waiting for the fete as people will get to see a Brand New Vijayawada now.
“Vijayawada has changed a lot after the state bifurcation. The change is even visible with CM operating from the city. Several beautification and developments are taken. Roads were widened. Several Posh facilities have come up. People will witness the change when they come here for Pushkaralu,” a visibly excited official said.
“We are not only waiting to see the reaction of the people from other states. People from other districts who have not visited the city for long will be coming to take the holy dip and will witness the change,” the official added. However the state government is disappointed that the Durga Gudi Flyover could not be complete by the time as it would have solved lot of traffic issues.
