Wind-blowing

Looks like the Political equations in Seemandhra region are changing very fast. People are slowly coming out of bifurcation issue and are looking for a leader to develop the newly formed state. Chandra Babu with proven track record in development is the obvious choice for them. The leaders coming out of Congress are also making TDP stronger every day.

With this development, cadre and leaders of YSR Congress are getting dejected. The party enjoyed a dream run in all the bi-elections contested so far. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy won the Kadapa Parliament with record majority three years ago. He concentrated on the rest of the constituencies and almost won the election with out any campaign. But things have changed for Municipal elections. With several strong leaders taking TDP side, YSR Congress felt that it is not even easy to win in Kadapa and fielded YS Vijayamma to campaign there.

In 2005, YSR led Congress won Kadapa almost single handed. A win anything less than that will expose YSR Congress weakness and will make the party further week across the state. So, Jagan has taken his home district prestigious. Only 4 wards in Kadapa district are unanimously won. TDP won two in Rayachoti, YSR Congress won one in Pulivendhula and an independent won in Maidhukuru and now he is supporting TDP.
