Will Jagan Government Face Contempt of Supreme Court? The inevitable has happened. Supreme Court has become serious on the Jagan Government’s handling of Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. The Apex Court struck down the Government’s fourth plea to issue a Stay on High Court’s order.

“We are well aware of what is happening in this case. So, we have not issued a stay on this. We are shocked that even the directions of the Governor are not adhered to. We are giving time till next Friday to follow High Court’s Direction,” the court said.

The Government will now have to reinstate Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as the State Election Commissioner or may have to face the contempt of the court. Probably, the Government has no option but to set its ego aside in this Episode. In all probability, the Government will get an adverse verdict in the Supreme Court in this case.

It is known to our readers how the Chief Minister took it personally and lambasted the former SEC in a Press Meet in the name of Caste as well. Jagan Government is insecure about facing the election under Ramesh Kumar since he is an appointee during Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure and also belongs to the same community as Chandrababu. Moreover, the ruling party burnt the bridges beyond repair.
