Janasena President Pawan Kalyan is touring the Vizianagaram District of Uttarandhra. Since the day he started his Yatra, he is repeatedly taking on Former Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju for his earlier comment saying that he does not know who Pawan Kalyan is. The Janasenani is ridiculing the TDP Veteran in a cinematic way almost on a daily basis.
These comments from Pawan Kalyan is getting claps and whistles from his young fans but the overall impact on the people is negative. Ashok Gajapathi Raju and his family have created an indelible mark on Uttarandhra with their generosity. They have made established several foundations to impart education and medical care for the poor in the region.
He even donated several 100s of acres to some government projects. So the impression on the Common People for these comments is not great. Moreover, repeating these comments almost on a daily basis gives an impression that Pawan Kalyan is taking it too personal and has no respect for elders.
Making the comment once or twice would have been effective but this is not the way. Except in 2004, Ashok Gajapathi Raju has won every election since 1979. Claiming his contribution in the TDP Veteran’s Victory in 2014 is not going well with the people. The Former Union Minister has impressed the nation with his extreme simplicity with no tantrums despite Power or hailing from the Royal Family.
