For years, people from various districts, towns and villages of Andhra Pradesh have come and settled in Hyderabad. They’ve established their businesses, gained all their education, built houses, raised families, have seen many others grow with them, have lived and also died here, in Hyderabad. It was the city of each and every Telugu person. By uniting various cultures and traditions, people here have learnt to love and live with each other.
Industries, schools, colleges, hospitals, IT companies, Multi-national companies, banks, tourisms, government offices and what not? We have everything in Hyderabad. And it all happened because of the blood and sweat each Telugu person has lent over years, the sacrifices they’ve made to see their city reach heights. Generations of families have been living in this beautiful, metropolis.
But what now? The bifurcation has already taken its toll over the minds of people of Seemandhra region. Even after ten long years, will any city in Seemandhra region reach the levels of development of Hyderabad. Will the employment opportunities and educational facilities increase? And most importantly, will people ever be able to remove from their minds that Hyderabad was once their capital city, not anymore?
