Will Nandhyala By-Election Be a Huge Mistake for YS JaganNandhyala Assembly Segment which fell vacant due to the sudden demise of Bhuma Nagi Reddy will see a by-election in the next six months. YSR Congress already confirmed that it will put up a candidate since they say it is their seat even though Bhuma defected to TDP.

TDP naturally will put up some one from Bhuma family in the election. In such case, sentiment will be in favour of TDP’s candidate naturally. But then YSR Congress believes that its allegation that Chandrababu Naidu’s delay in giving cabinet berth to Bhuma has caused his death will work in favour of its candidate.

But then Jagan has committed some grave mistakes like skipping Bhuma’s final rites and the homage session in the Assembly. Further, Bhuma’s daughter, Akhila Priya and family are with TDP and so, the election will become critical for YSR Congress.

The party is inviting trouble unnecessarily here. If Jagan had given due respect to Bhuma after his death and put up a candidate saying that it is a seat of YSR Congress, things may have worked a bit in the fan party’s favour. But then he is contesting the election after all sorts of non-sense. This may prove costly for YSR Congress.
