Will Naidu file Caveat?Building a capital city is not a small thing and alongwith a lot of apprehensions regarding giving away the land, there definitely will be political diturbances from the opposition parties to encourage those farmers who aren’t interested to give away their lands. Land pooling isn’t going to be that easy.

Though certain sections might laud the decisions of CBN, there would be some who would definitely oppose. Sensing such opposition, the state government is learnt to have asked the advocate general to file a caveat in case to tackle any litigation that would arise once the land pooling exercise begins. To discuss on the land pooling a cabinet sub-committee meeting is to be held on 17 December.

The official decision on land pooling will be taken on 18th December and a seperate authority by name Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) will be formed. On 19 & 20 of December, the Bill regarding the formation of CRDA would be introduced during the brief budget sessions. After the bill passes through, the official work on the capital city’s development would commence. What is left to see if Naidu file a caveat before the whole process kick starts.
