Will Narendra Modi Throw A Surprise in Vizag? If the reports emerging from Delhi are to be believed, the Schedule of General Elections and Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections will be out on March 4th. On the other side, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Vishakapatnam and will be addressing a Public Meeting arranged there.

BJP leaders and cadre are speculating that the Prime Minister will be announcing the long-pending demand of Vishakapatnam Railway Zone just before the code comes into effect. BJP has won Vishakapatnam Lok Sabha segment in 2014 elections. The then BJP State President Haribabu emerged as a Giant Killer defeating YS Vijayamma.

Railway Zone is the Primary Promise of Haribabu in that election but BJP kept it in cold storage along with the other promises made to Andhra Pradesh. The Saffron Party do not want to hurt its prospects in Odisha with the Railway Zone. It has to be seen if they will do that now as Odisha is also going to elections at the same time.

After approving the Revised Estimates of Polavaram Project, BJP is expecting to go for the elections confidently if Vishakapatnam Railway Zone is sanctioned, it has to be seen what the Party High Command does about it now. Or Will Modi confine to bashing Chandrababu Naidu?
