KCR- Pawan KalyanTelangana RTC JAC leaders have met Janasena President Pawan Kalyan at his residence on Thursday and sought his party’s support in their agitation. Pawan Kalyan extended his sympathies to the agitating workers and assured them that he will speak to Telangana Chief Minister, KCR in two or three days.

“It is not right for the government to be so adamant. I have great respect for the Chief Minister. I shall discuss their issues with the Chief Minister in two or three days. If the government still does not oblige, we will support the future course of action of the JAC,” Pawan Kalyan told the media after the meeting.

The big question is if KCR will really care for what Pawan Kalyan opines in this issue. Most of the union leaders of RTC have worked for hand in hand with KCR during the Telangana Agitation days and KCR did not even like to meet them. We have seen him using the strongest of words on them.

It has to be seen if Pawan Kalyan’s intervention will make any difference now. On the other side, Telangana Cabinet will happen on November 2nd with the RTC issue as the Prime Agenda. KCR Government is likely to allow Private into the Transport sector where RTC has a monopoly until now. RTC will run 50%, 30% of leased buses will be allowed and the rest 20% will be run by the Private, as per the new model.
