Telangana Rashtra Samiti President K Chandra Sekhar Rao used to make two major promises before Telangana state formation. 1. To merge TRS in to Congress after the Telangana Bill passed in Parliament 2. Making a dalit as First Chief Minister of Telangana. The first promise seem to be not going in the right direction at least for the moment with Congress and TRS leaders making contrasting statements. And how about the second?
We got to speak to two most confidential sources in TRS bhavan and got two contrasting opinions regarding this. The first source said, “It is difficult for KCR family totally sacrificing the coveted post. We do not know what happens in the second term. So, in all probability the CM chair is due for KCR’s family itself”. Another source said, “Credibility is most important in politics. It will go to dogs in case KCR do not adhere to both the promises. He will make a dalit as CM. He will use him as a puppet like Man Mohan Singh and take the power just like Sonia Gandhi”.
Among the other promises of KCR are one acre of land for free to every family below the poverty line, one government job and free house per family. We will have the answers only in the next 5 years.
