If at all the by-election for Nalgonda happens, rumours are rife that TDP (TS) may field its Working President, Revanth Reddy as its candidate. The huge Reddy population in the Lok Sabha segment will keep Revanth Reddy interested.
More than anything else, if Revanth Reddy gets better votes than the BJP candidate, it will send a message to Narendra Modi and Amit Shah about the alliance in 2019 elections. It will also bust the myth that BJP is stronger than TDP in Telangana.
There are also trials that Kodandaram should be the common candidate of the Opposition. In such case, Congress and TDP (TS) will be on one side and BJP cannot join the alliance naturally. This will further irk Modi and Shah.
