Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu clarified to media that he is not interested in meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi anymore. Chandrababu Naidu seems to have arrived at this conclusion after going to Delhi for more than 20 times and could not make an impact on Modi’s insensitivity towards the state.
Naidu clarified that his MPs will be meeting the Prime Minister for one last time and will decide the future course of action basing on the outcome of that meeting. Naidu did not use the exact words but still conveyed the message of possible quitting of NDA government if necessary. Naidu clearly said the decision will be taken according to people’s opinion.
On the other side, in the meeting of MPs with Chandrababu, Central ministers Ashok Gajapati Raju and Y.S. Chowdary told Naidu that they were ready to quit their posts as the state’s interests were paramount for them. Naidu expressed his displeasure over Rajya Sabha MPs saying that they failed to reflect people’s sentiments properly.
We are already told that TDP MPs have sought for Prime Minister’s Appointment. On the other side, there are jokes all over the social media that Naidu’s decision not to meet the Prime Minister saved Naidu’s trip and accommodation expenses, a Shawl and Tirupati Laddu expenses to the state exchequer.
