Bharat-Bhavan-BRSThe BRS party is constructing a new building called the ‘Centre for Excellence and Human Resource Development’ in Kokapet, Hyderabad. This building, nicknamed ‘Bharat Bhavan’ or ‘Centre of Excellence,’ is being built on valuable land and will serve as the official hub for BRS activities.

The foundation stone for this 15-storey building was laid by BRS chief and Chief Minister KCR.

There is criticism regarding the construction of this new building, as the BRS already has a party office called ‘Telangana Bhavan.’

Opposition parties and people are questioning the need for two separate buildings for the same party when other major political parties in the state, such as the Congress Party and the Telugu Desam Party, do not have two party buildings. Even CPI and CPM, which have recently aligned with the BRS, do not have two buildings.

The existing Telangana Bhavan, located between Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills near KBR Park, serves as the headquarters of the BRS party and was allocated to them by the previous Congress government.

In addition to the party office, the government has allocated 11 acres of land in Kokapet for the construction of the new building.

While the BRS claims that the new building is meant for the Center for Excellence, it is widely believed that it will primarily be used for political activities.

The allocation of valuable land and the construction of a new building for the ruling BRS party have raised concerns and sparked criticism from opposition parties and the public.
