Why Parliament Should Not Discuss Capital Change Issue? The All-Party Meeting ahead of the Parliament Budget Session ended up with a fight between TDP and YSR Congress MPs. TDP MPs have demanded that the issues of Capital Change and Council Abolition should be put on the agenda of the Parliament. YSR Congress MPs – Vijaya Sai Reddy and Midhun Reddy strictly opposed it.

Vijaya Sai Reddy went on to say that the Capital issue is completely the prerogative of the State Government and can not be discussed in Parliament. TDP MPs intervened and said Amaravati is chosen as the Capital with the approval of the Central Government and the issue should be taken up.

Both sides have got into a heated argument. and Central Minister Rajnadh Singh had to intervene. He asked YSR Congress MPs to calm down. “Why should TDP MPs not say their opinion in the meeting? Why are you stopping them? They have asked for it and let us decide if the issue can be taken up in the house,” he told them.

TDP MPs are asking why Jagan Government is afraid of discussing the issue in the Parliament. “Maybe they are afraid that the whole parliament will laugh at their Thuglaq idea of three capitals,” a TDP MP said.
