Four MLAs – Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Anam Ram Narayana Reddy, Undavalli Sridevi, and Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy have cross-voted to TDP candidate in MLC elections and got suspended from the party.
Among the four, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Anam Ram Narayana Reddy got in touch with TDP much before the election but did not get any assurance of a TDP ticket. Hence, they have not joined the party.
Sridhar Reddy’s brother Giridhar Reddy joined TDP. Anam wants an Atmakur ticket for his daughter. Chandrababu did not take a decision yet on both seats.
It is said that TDP never approached Undavalli Sridevi and Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy for a vote. They have voted for the TDP candidate out of their anger against YSR Congress.
Undavalli Sridevi, now suspended from YSR Congress, is considering joining Janasena since TDP has confirmed the ticket for Sravan Kumar in Tadikonda. She hopes to get the Tadikonda ticket via an alliance with Janasena.
Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy whose image got damaged due to personal issues is also unlikely to get a TDP ticket.
That means these MLAs hate Jagan so much that they voted for another party without any favor or assurance for the ticket.
