Why Jagan Skipped Tirupati Campaign At the Last Minute?Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who was supposed to tour Tirupati on 14th of this month has canceled his tour at the last minute. He wrote a Public letter to the people saying that he is canceling the tour due to the rising Coronavirus cases.

This has come as a surprise to the YSR Congress rank and file as well because they were asked to made arrangements for a huge public meeting. A few Ministers have been supervising the arrangements until today. Also, there are no instances of any leader of YSR Congress including the Chief Minister caring for Coronavirus.

Only the other day, Jagan‘s mother Vijayamma attended Sharmila’s Khammam Public meeting which has seen 1000s of people. So it has become a talking point about why the Chief Minister wanted to campaign in Tirupati in the first place and later pulled out at the last minute.

Tirupati By-election will happen on April 17th and the Results will be out on May 2nd. YSR Congress fielded Gurumurthy who previously worked as a Physiotherapist to Jagan during his Padayatra as its candidate.
