Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did not pay his respects to Legendary Actor Krishnam Raju. On the first day, the mortal remains were kept at Krishnam Raju’s residence and on the second day, the final rites happened in his farmhouse.
Jagan did not come to both places. This has angered Krishnam Raju and Prabhas fans because Prabhas despite being a Pan-India Superstar reached out to Jagan without inhibitions when there is an issue with ticket prices.
Fans are offended by the way the Chief Minister ignored Krishnam Raju. Only some ministers from Andhra Pradesh Government attended as a formality.
Sources say that Jagan got offended by Krishnam Raju.
Krishnam Raju and Aswini Dutt have given their lands to the then TDP government after bifurcation, as part of land pooling.
Aswini Dutt gave his 39 acres of land for the development and expansion of Gannavaram airport and so did Krishnam Raju with a 31-acre land.
They were given lands in Amaravati as compensation. But Jagan’s three capitals mean the plots in Amaravati are useless.
Both Krishnam Raju and Aswini Dutt approached the High Court saying that the Airports Authority of India can start construction only after paying compensation as per the land pooling act 2013.
Jagan is upset with Krishnam Raju firstly for cooperating with Chandrababu Naidu initially and later for going to court against his government.
There were rumors that Jagan wanted Krishnam Raju and Prabhas to join YSR Congress just before the 2019 elections so that YSR Congress gets some momentum but Krishnam Raju did not agree.
He did not get pacified even after Prabhas came to him. So, the Chief Minister skipped paying respects to the Legendary actor for one last time.
On the other hand, Telangana Government ensured final rites with full state honor as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
