IT not a priority any more for ChandrababuChandrababu Naidu is the first Chief Minister in the country back then to recognize the importance of the emergence of IT industry. He patronized the IT companies like any thing in Hyderabad and created numerous employment oppurtunities. In most of the families back then there used to be at least one IT employee working in the country or abroad. Those employments bettered the life style of many families back then.

However in the current tenure, IT seem to be not a top priority of Chandrababu. He was quick to identify the slowdown of the IT industries. Companies would not recruit as many as they would have done a decade ago. Also the starting salaries and the hike in the industry were marginalized very much that IT jobs are no longer lucrative.

Naidu is now more focusing on the manufacturing side where there is future especially when India is striding towards reducing imports and encouraging ‘Make in India’. Unlike IT industry, manufacturing companies do have employment for skilled and non-skilled people there by increasing the employment oppurtunities. It is great that a senior politician like Naidu has the vision to see the current market trends.
