Andhra Pradesh Police had made one more arrest in relation to using filthy language on Social Media after Political Punch Ravikiran. Ravindra Reddy Ippala who is based out of Bengaluru was arrested for using disgraceful language on the Chief Minister and other ministers of the AP government.
Ravindra’s Timelines in Twitter and Facebook have abuses beyond civility. Even the families of the leaders were also targeted in disgraceful language. Ravindra is also the man who sent emails to Irving Police to foil Chandrababu’s USA Tour.
But then, YSR Congress owned him as well and described the government act as ‘Political Vendetta’. Terming the abuse as Social Media Activism, YSR Congress RS MP Vijaya Sai Reddy vowed to wage a legal battle with the government in this issue.
Even the core supporters of YSR Congress are worried about this strategy of the party. Owning this abuse and filth will only demean the stature of the party in neutral people and will only do more bad than good to the party. Also, signals are being sent that the Opposition Party is funding and encouraging this filth. Is Jagan missing a trick here?
