Reports are that Telangana Police have been stopping the ambulances with critical patients coming in from Andhra Pradesh. Some patients even with confirmed beds in various hospitals in Hyderabad are also denied entry into Telangana.
A huge number of ambulances are seen waiting at Pullur Check post. Sources say that at least two patients have passed away in the ambulance itself as Telangana police denied the entry. Tens of ambulances have gone back after waiting for hours together.
The other day, Telangana Government issued a G.O saying that only those with hospital tie-ups will be allowed from other states. Even that is not being followed. There is a huge public backlash on Twitter on KCR Government for this inhuman act.
Interestingly, KCR and Jagan exhibited camaraderie of the highest degree before and after the election to take on their common enemy, Chandrababu Naidu. This problem has been happening for the last one week or so and the AP CM is yet to dial the Telangana Chief Minister. “Why Jagan is being a mute spectator?” people on the social media question.
On the other side, Telangana High Court is hearing a contempt of the court petition on this. The court termed this act unconstitutional and questioned why the government and authorities can behave with humanity in the middle of a pandemic.
