YSR Congress is almost a shutdown in Telangana region. With the party taking Samayikya Andhra stand, the leader of the region almost boycotted the party. But all of sudden, YS Jagan had announced a Telangana tour. YSR Congress states that there will be a big outdoor meeting in Khammam on March 4th and it will be followed by Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra in Nalgonda district. Why is Jagan eyeing Telangana all of sudden? Is it safe from him to do yatra in such sensitive time?
Jagan certainly knows that it is not safe to tour Telangana. He is also sure that his party is non existent in the region. But he is touring the region to ignite emotions. If he is attacked there, it will intensify the emotions in Seema Andhra region which will help his party in close contested polls. On the other side, it will also get him the support of settlers in Telangana region which may help him secure handful of seats which will be anyways a bonus.
Jagan’s graph is currently hitting all time low with no much activity. Jagan wants to have publicity of some sort immediately to stay in the good books of Seema Andhra people. And he pinned hopes on this tour now!
