chandrababu-naidu-JaganChief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will stay away from the ‘Azaadi ka Amritotsav’ program organized by the central government. He is going on a visit to Delhi on Saturday, but he is not going to attend the program held there on the same day.

He left Tadepalli at 1 pm on Saturday and will attend the wedding of Speaker Tammineni Sitaram’s son in Amdalavalasa of the Srikakulam district.

He will reach Delhi later evening. So, he is going to miss the Azadi ka Amritotsav meeting which will be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday afternoon.

Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan and Former Chief Minister Chandrababu are also attending this event. Political circles say that the CM has skipped the meeting to avoid facing Chandrababu.

The question is why is Jagan avoiding Chandrababu?

Jagan will go to Rashtrapati Bhavan at 9.30 am on Sunday morning. They will participate in the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting held there from 9.45 to 4.30 and will return from Delhi by Sunday night.

Government sources said that the Chief Minister’s office is trying for an appointment to meet Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday.
