Why Is BJP Not Growing in TelanganaThere is a big vacuum in the Opposition in Telangana. Congress’ struggles across the country are taking a toll on the party in the state as well while TDP (TS) is almost on the verge of extinction. Usually, that should be the right time for BJP to expand here given the Modi factor on its side.

But then, there is a severe leadership crisis in the state unit of BJP and no one really wants to make an effort. BJP President, Lakshman can inspire confidence in the cadre or the people. While the former President, Kishan Reddy is totally clueless.

Kishan Reddy the other day, had shared a Survey of KCR in which he is rated as the Third Best Performing MLA in Telangana and the best in Hyderabad City. “Happy to share that I have been listed as 3rd best performing MLA in Telangana & no.1 in the city in a survey conducted by CM of TS (sic),” Kishan Reddy tweeted.

If Kishan Reddy acknowledged it as an achievement, he is obviously vouching for the survey which gives the ruling party 101-106 seats out of the total 119 seats in Telangana. In such case, Congress, TDP (TS) and BJP will have to share the remaining 13-18 seats. So, Kishan Reddy is okay with the worst performance for the party just for his personal accolades. There goes the answer to the question, Why is BJP not growing in Telangana?
