Elections are done and dusted and the Voters’ Verdict is sealed in Electronic Voting Machines which will be opened only on May 23rd. Pawan Kalyan who is last seen visiting a couple of temples the next day after the Polling has disappeared to his house or farmhouse in Hyderabad away from the media glare.
There are absolutely no review meetings about the poll performance and we are told that the party leaders are disappointed with how things went. A couple of leaders reportedly met Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad and across the table, Pawan Kalyan vented his anger on Telangana Chief Minister, KCR supporting Jagan.
“That made difference in this election. KCR supporting Jagan gave an indication that Janasena is not the winning horse. And that ensured that the contest is only between TDP and YSR Congress,” Pawan Kalyan opined about the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh. This is also the reason why Pawan Kalyan went all out against KCR and Jagan during the election campaign.
Janasena can see no future unless it crossed double digit seats and Pawan Kalyan winning both his seats. Any result worse than that will take the steam out of Janasena and may even force Pawan Kalyan back into movies. Five years is a very long time to sustain in politics.
