Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is in Delhi to attend the meeting of the Ministry of Home Affairs with chief ministers of Maoist-hit states. The meeting has concluded yesterday but the Chief Minister will stay back for two more days in the National Capital meeting with some other ministers.
On the other side, there are reports, all of sudden, on Monday night that the Chief Minister has met Union Home Minister Amit Shah secretly at the latter’s residence. He kept his regular convoy aside and met the Home Minister all alone evading the media glare.
The Chief Minister’s Office did not send any communique to the media about the meeting raising doubts. There are rumors fast and thick saying that KCR is trying to forge an alliance with BJP. The Saffron party is trying to gain strength in the state. KCR is trying to scare the BJP high command that if they fight independently it may help Congress.
So together they will consolidate the vote and come back to power easily. Only time can tell if the rumor is true!
