Why Capital Should Be A Priority for Jagan?Media Reports suggest that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has told the Officials that constructing the Capital is not his priority and he is concerned only about the implementation of the nine promises he made to the people. If Jagan is serious about what he said, it is going to be a big blunder. The meagre allocation in the Budget also indicates the same.

Having a Capital is a lifetime requirement of Andhra Pradesh and can not be ignored by any government. All the nine promises Jagan made do require huge economic resources and Jagan will need Growth Engines to pool in the money. As of today, Jagan has not revealed a Single plan for Wealth Creation.

Sole emphasis on Welfare Schemes will only drive Andhra Pradesh into a debt trap. Moreover, the government of Andhra Pradesh has a commitment to the Farmers who gave their lands to the Capital. It is a commitment given by GoAP and can not be changed when a government changes.

Investments are key to drive Andhra Pradesh forward and the government can not sell that without a Capital and canceling the existing International Flight Routes. Jagan is relatively new to the Chief Minister Post but the decisions he take now are being closely observed. Those decisions will decide the future of Andhra Pradesh.
