In BJP Booth Level Workers meeting in Vijayawada the other day, Some of the BJP workers have staged a protest before President Amit Shah against the alliance with TDP. They were seen with placards ‘Save BJP, Leave TDP’ during Amit Shah and Venkaiah Naidu’s Speeches.
Amit Shah was upset with this indisciplined and inquired into who is behind this protests. It was told that they were brought from Rajamahendravaram by MLC Somu Veerraju. When Police intervened, some of them admitted to having no connections with the party but were brought only to stage the protest.
Somu Veerraju is the leader of the anti-TDP unit in the state BJP. He is also the most vocal among BJP leaders cornering the state government. Somu is hell bent on squandering the alliance even before 2014 elections.
