A man named Sai Kandula is making headlines in the U.S. news media for the wrong reasons.
A Missouri man has been arrested by the police for allegedly intentionally crashing a U-Haul truck into a security barrier at a park near the White House.
Sai Varshith Kandula, a 19-year-old resident of Chesterfield, a St. Louis suburb, crashed into the barrier near the White House. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
After the crash, Kandula came out from the truck with a Nazi flag and began shouting as Park Police and Secret Service officers approached him, adding to the unusual nature of the incident.
During questioning by the police, Sai stated that he was present to overthrow the government and expressed his intention to kill President Joe Biden.
He was further charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and trespassing.
Investigators are currently examining whether mental health factors played a role in the incident, and it is unclear at this time when he will make a court appearance.
