Hyderabad had turned Pink with Hoardings, Wall Posters and other Publicity material wishing Happy Birthday to Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao. But interestingly some hoardings have appeared in Andhra Side as well wishing KTR much to the surprise of the political circles. Here is what political experts are reading into it.
Some experts say a section of YSR Congress cadre is supporting KTR and KCR big time just to belittle TDP and Chandrababu Naidu. They say this may be a handy work of such people. “There is no perception change about TRS or KCR in Andhra. People still look at TRS as the reason for the bifurcation and all the trouble inherited after that,” a Political expert said.
A section of Telangana media looks this as KTR’s popularity with Settlers after GHMC elections. “GHMC win is mostly out of Settlers’ need of TRS government since they are going to rule the state for four years or so. The positive mandate is out of a compulsion. I do not think there is much change in common settlers. But Settler Politicians have moved towards TRS that’s for sure,” another expert says.
“The Unity in the state is as such. We are divided into caste lines. The hatred on a caste is such, some people of another caste is trying to push KTR to demean ruling party here,” a TDP fan says on Twitter. Amid all this ifs and buts, there is a joke about this Hoarding in Social Media. “KTR’s wife is from Bhimavaram and probably this love is due to that alliance,” someone posted. Back then, KTR even joked that he will not hesitate to contest from Bhimavaram if the need arises.
