The other day, Telugu Desam Party MLAs alleged that YSR Congress MLAs have attacked their members – Dola Veeranjaneya Swamy and Gorantla Buchchaiah Chowdary in the house.
YSR Congress immediately got alert as Veeranjaneya Swamy is a Dalit and claimed their Dalit MLA – Sudhakar Babu was attacked. Sudhakar Babu showed a small scar and later dressed it with a big bandage.
So, both sides made claims and the Live proceedings of the Assembly did not show what really happened. So, we can not conclude who is lying.
The Government and the Speaker should have released the video of what happened if the ruling party’s version is right.
But the Government simply closed the issue with counter-allegations followed by CM Jagan’s speech making allegations about Chandrababu Naidu on the Skill Development issue.
That leaves everyone with a question – “Why is the government hesitating to release the footage if they are at no wrong?”
