With Supreme Court’s intervention, BJP will have to take up Floor Test Tomorrow at 4 PM in Vidhana Soudha. Congress and JDS MLAs who are currently stationed in Hyderabad will have to be ferried back to Bengaluru. According to the Kannada News Channels, here are the numbers available with each party in their respective camps.
Along with its 104 MLAs, BJP has managed to garner the support of a Congress MLA and an Independent MLA. Congress effectively has the support of 76 MLAs now and JDS with its own 38 MLAs has the support of an Independent and an MLA from BSP. BJP has to get the support of five more MLAs by tomorrow 4 PM.
Unless something drastic happens tomorrow in the Karnataka Vidhana Soudha, BJP will be losing the Floor Test and Yeddy will have the record as Chief Minister for the shortest term of three days. But then BJP under Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are capable of anything and everything.
