After a high profile Foundation fete, there is nothing much happening with Amaravati at least in public. But CRDA is busy making preparations to better the Plan by this month-end.
They will be giving a fixed time for public to air their feedback and suggestions. The announcement of the new capital city of Amarvati and creation of CRDA was initiated in December 2014, which means it took exactly one year for the preparation of Master Plan which is an achievement itself.
On the other side, efforts are on to finalize the Master Developer for Amaravati. The state government is planning to complete the first phase of capital construction by 2018. All the major government buildings including the Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, High Court and various administrative blocks, will be completed by then.
